What is your "why"?
Approaching 30 and have never really been in shape in my adult life, training for a half marathon in October and want to spend my 30s feeling as healthy as possible.
How long have you been actively training for or are you new to fitness?
Semi-actively training for about a year, with a big break from November – March
What would you most like to see transform in yourself?
Internally: That sluggish feeling you get in the mornings, having more energy and focus in my daily life.
Externally: Love handles – They’ve gotta go.
What is one thing in the gym that is WAY out of your comfort zone and challenges you?
Again, Burpees and Squats. Poor mobility due to years of inactivity so I struggle with Rig work.
What does the word ‘fitness’ mean to you?
Fitness means not feeling daunted by physical activity. Not saying no to a game of five-a-side, not cycling long distances and generally feeling lean and strong.
