What is the reason you choose to be a trainer at SWEAT IT?
Apart from the sessions being epic, and the team being amazing, the coaching values Sweat It deliver, concentrating on mindset and lifting people up, taking them beyond their limits is exactly the reason I love group training. Changing people’s lives.
What are your key motivators that make you book into a class or get to a gym session?
For me it’s therapy. The endorphin rush, the moment in time just for me, the mental and physical challenges that allow me to grow as a person and as an athlete.
How long have you been actively training for?
I’ve been physically active most of my life from athletics, to team sports, to dancing and then teaching and training.
Are you training with any specific goals or upcoming events in mind?
For me I’m all about pushing my boundaries. Being the fittest and healthiest I can be, allowing me to breeze through my everyday life, and be the best version if me.
What would you most like to see transform in yourself?
Internally: To not be as hard on myself.
Externally: Anything that involves endurance. I’m more of an all out, interval kind of girl. Pacing and endurance does not come naturally to me and genuinely gives me the fear!
What is one thing in the gym that is WAY out of your comfort zone and challenges you?
Gyms I'm comfortable with. It's the treadmill that takes me out of my comfort zone. Hills especially. But I feel like I'm slowly winning the battle.
What does the word ‘fitness’ mean to you?
Moving efficiently, having a healthy body and healthy mind, being able to live and move well everyday.
